Outpatient Surgical Specialties Center strives to be in-network with most insurance carriers; however, some plans have restricted status. It is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to know their coverage’s network requirements and benefits. Still, our business office staff at OSSC will do their best to explain the estimated patient responsibility and other necessary insurance information before the date of service. Payment is usually required on or before the date of service. Several plans also have specific tiers that must be followed for the highest coverage.

With any procedure at any facility, we recommend you contact your insurance carrier prior to getting medical care. To note, OSSC accepts Workman’s Compensation.

Notify us immediately if your insurance information changes. Under most circumstances, your insurance carrier will mail payments and correspondence directly to our office. In case these have been sent to you, please forward them to us by endorsing the check and writing “Payable to OSSC” under your signature. Once we receive the payment, your health care billing will be adjusted accordingly.

If you have any questions about your insurance billing, please do not hesitate to contact our billing department.
